The Cannady Cardigan is a cozy, chunky sweater with an oversized fit, perfect for relaxed knitting. This versatile knitwear essential is easy to style and great for layering. Made with simple stitches and shaping techniques, it’s designed to be a favorite addition to your wardrobe. The pattern uses size 6 bulky yarn and 12.0mm needles (or equivalent to achieve gauge).

The pattern offers two sizes (due to the oversized fit):

  • Small/Medium (US sizes 0–10)

  • Large/X-Large (US sizes 12–22)

Written in standard American knitting terms with a beginner-friendly skill level.

If you've never knit a top-down raglan sweater before, you're in for a delightful experience! This pattern is perfect for beginners and knitters of any skill level. Made with super bulky yarn, this sweater knits up incredibly quickly, and thanks to its top-down, seamless construction, you’ll have a finished sweater the moment you’re done knitting—no seaming or sewing required!

For this pattern, you'll need to know the knit stitch, and while familiarity with holding stitches, picking up stitches, and yarn over increases can be helpful, it’s not mandatory.

The project uses just over 350 yards (330 meters) of super bulky weight yarn, such as Red Heart Grande or Ice Yarns Alpine XL. You’ll also need 12mm and 15mm (US 17 and 19) circular needles with a cord long enough for 120 stitches. DPNs or 16-inch circular needles in the same sizes can be used for the sleeves and neck, but an interchangeable needle set is ideal to adjust the cord length as you work.

This pattern includes:

- A complete list of required materials and photos of the finished sweater

- A step-by-step written guide for creating the sweater in small, medium, large, and extra-large sizes

Sizes:

- Small/Medium (US 0 – 10)

- Large/X-Large (US 12 – 22)

The pattern is written in standard American knitting terms, with an easy skill level.

The Taylor Sweater is a beautiful, cozy knit made with a patent stitch pattern. I used a blend of wool and mohair for extra warmth and softness. It features a round neckline with a k1 p1 rib, and the sleeves are wide, cinched at the wrists with a k2 p2 rib that begins with a rolled edge for added detail.

Our Bernie-mittens-inspired hat quickly became a favorite design after the #BernieMittens trend went viral. Now, you can create a matching hat!

**Available Sizes:**

- 0-3 Months, 3-12 Months, 1-2 Years, 3-12 Years, Teen/Women, Men

This is the simplified version of my very popular Knitted Owl Slipper Pattern. I realized that not everyone may want owls on their slippers. That a more plain slipper was something that any man, woman or child would wear as plain old knitted slippers. If you are interested in the smaller, child sizes, that is available inhere too 😀

The pattern is knitted on 2 (two) set of needles, but don’t worry. I’ve provided a bunch of photos to show you how to do this. It sounds more complicated than it really is. The pattern itself only involves the knit stitch, k2tog and picking up stitches. Easy peasy! For real.
